Title 1: Programme Officer, Environment and Livelihoods
- Minimum of Bachelors degree in Environmental Studies, Development Studies or relevant field and 3
years experience or a master’s degree with 1.5 years relevant work experience in any of the above sectors.

Title 2: Programme Officer, Governance and Advocacy
- Minimum of Bachelors degree in Publicity and media studies, Law, or relevant field and 3 years experience
or a master’s degree with 1.5 years relevant work experience in any of the above sectors.

The Monitoring and Reporting Officer will serve as primary writer for the
development of proposals and donor reporting to support the emergency
response in Somalia.
S/he will work closely with the Emergency Programme Manager in the overall
implementation and management of monitoring, impact assessment and
information management to ensure high quality, innovative and accountability
standards are integrated into the regular donor reporting system of the Save the
Children’s Emergency Response in Somalia.

Person Specification
• Demonstrated experience of writing winning proposals for different key
institutional donors,
• Experience and knowledge of monitoring and needs/impact assessment
methods
• Good negotiation, communication, personal organizational skills including
time management, decision-making and interpersonal skills and ability to
work as part of a team.
